Default HP tuners vs. Predator for intake and catback only.

Thinking about selling my Predator and going with HP tuners. The only mods to my car are a catback, Blackwing, and a 160 thermostat. Is it worth doing if I KNOW I won't be modding the car any further for at least 2 years? The reason this has come to mind is I need to re-set the fuel cutoff from the column lock recall and I know it can be done with HP.

IMHO,most folks would agree that dyno tuning is better and to me all tuning is one of the "cost of benefit" choices we all make with our cars from time to time.

For people who drag/track their car,Dyno is probably a better choice than some of the mail-order or hand held tuners.

My 02Z has the VR+Power Duct+ the Halltech honeycomb maf screen. That's it for mods.

For me,the Predator was a good, low cost and easy to do tune..and I can make a few changes and/or go back to the stock tune in about 15 min.

I thot about the HP,but for the mods that I have,I'm happy with a $150 tune. Not big gains, but the Z is a little more pissed off now and I like it.

You might want to visit & join the Diablo forum and ask around. You might find a solution without spending anymore bux.

Posted on Diablosport forum a few days ago, and asked if there was a way (now, or possible future updates) to reset the fuel cutoff. No definitive answers yet.
