Default What is your stock horse power?

Synergy tuned my C5 this week. Before tune I was at 281hp, after plugs,wires,160 thermostate, and fuel filter I was at 291hp. I want to stay smog legal here in California. What were you guys stock horse power numbers? Any more I can do to get a little more horses?

I hear ya there. 500+ rwhp here 100% California Smog Legal as well. I do a lot of reading on HPtuners site. Read quite a few of your posts. Impressive putting that power down on a 1 BAR MAF OS. Same as I am running now as well. Not so sure a SD tune will pass emissions. What with the MAF gone and all. Could fail it and still have it there, just not to sure if they will see it in the tune. So with that, I am just leaving it 1 BAR MAF. Works well.

I could do a SD tune and then swap it back for the smog testing every other year as it wouldnt be a big deal to do that but right now the car is running great with the MAF so I see no need to do that.
I dont think a SD tune will pass Ca emissions even with MAF still visually in place. Im pretty sure their machine will pick up on something not being correct.
