Have a 1998 Corvette, starts up fine, runs all day long in
park.Put it in gear and go more then 2 MPH and it dies.Starts right up again.Have no check engine on.Could someone tell me whats going on this.Thanks.
Even though you do not have a Check Engine Light I would pull codes. You definitely have something causing this. I don't suppose you get the "pull key and wait 10 sec" either on the DIC? Sounds like it could be a wheel sensor. But you do have to pull the codes off the PCM and post them up. Also, I would move this to the tech section. Get better responses over there.
Sounds like a column lock failure to me, since it's speed related. As noted, pull the codes.
