Default Help with the LC1 Innovate AFR Gauge

Hi Guys,

after two turns at the race track my LC1 suddenly showed me irrelevant values. At partial load it showed about 14,5, thats ok but at full throttle it shows at once 20 to 60 AFR. Normally i have about 11,3.

I let the car stay for about 12 hours and pushed the button three times for calibration after the oxygen sensor was hot and showed 20,9but at full throttle i had the same results. (Before starting i stopped the ignition and waited 30 seconds before starting the engine).
I let the car stay again and next day i pushed the button for three seconds after the sensor was hot but the results are the same again. (Before starting i stopped the ignition and waited 30 seconds before starting the engine).

What is the problem? Do i need to push a key combination to save?
Could it be that the sensor got too hot (normally it should be ok for 500 degrees celsius) with an 402 with the YSI and about 900 RWHP?

Thanks for help

How old is the sensor?

I just replaced mine, 2 years old.

Normal driving it worked normally, At WOT it dropped to 12 or so then spiked to 20 + and stayed for a while (20 seconds or so).

Replacing the senor fixed mine. You can get them from a Volkswagon Dealer if you need quick turnaround, less than $60 IIRC.

Mine is about 1,5 years but i used it only for about 6000 miles.

Was the approach ok or did i make a mistake (REset or Cal)?

Do you know the part number for the right sensor?

Could it be that the sensor gets too hot?

Thanks steve

Replacement sensors are available from your nearest VW dealer under the VW part-number
021-906-262-B or direct from Innovate Motorsports.

I think your approach was Ok.

The instruction set has the sequence to get replace the sensor, its available at the innovate site.
