Default I'm looking for a tuner in the Pensacola Florida area

To help me get my car straightened out. With the help of 2 out of town tuners and a lot of experimenting I have finally got it where it cranks and idles OK but it still needs help. I don't know enough yet about HP Tuners to get it where it should be.

I've been messing with this now for a month and It has severally side tracked my other projects and I am just flat out ready to have the car run right for a change.

I am willing to drive a couple of hundred miles from me so if there is anyone that can help me out please let me know and about how much it will cost me. We have a local tuner but I just don't get the warm fuzzies with him.

I've heard nothing but good things about Mike. The thing that really burns my butt is for the past 2 years I've made business trips to Orlando on a monthly basis and now that I could really use a trip South it's all but dried up. Of course if I find nothing close by soon I'll be up for a road trip. Only problem is when on road trip South I'll end up in Key West for some reason...

Thanks Robert

RLSebring, if you have HP Tuners I may be able to help you put a bit if you can get me some run logs. I have also wondered about making a tune trip up that way as I have quite a few folks that come here from that area for sure. Not sure if you know karl from Niceville with an 08 Z06.

Let me know.

Thanks Mike. I am getting to know Ken, Karl and Bill better. I am invited to Karl's place to lend a hand (mostly watch I imagine) for the Supercharger install.

Ken was saying something about you a couple of weeks ago but I did not make the connection. Let me know what kind of logs you need and I will be more than happy to send them to you to look at.

I put everything back to stock yesterday because things were just so hacked together. I made some changes to the cranking/Idle Air, some fuel and spark just so it will run and not stall out on me. It's far from where it should be.

When I replaced the engine I went with the 480hp "Hot Cam" crate motor from GM. Unfortunately I am at the point now that I wish I'd went with the stock engine just so I would not have invested so much time chasing this thing. I have really eaten up a lot time with not much of a result. As well as the car turned out I am really embarrassed to pull up to a fellow vette owner (clubs and shows) just because of the way she's running.

I know Tim Burke (Burke Corvette's), Robbie and those guys at Vette Masters and Roger (Rogers Corvette's) there in Maitland. I did my last 2 Vette's there so I was in the area a lot.

Let me know what you need. I have HP Tuners and finally learning how to run the logs. I'll be more than happy to compensate you so know that I am not looking for a freebie. I've had a couple of other out of town guys try to help but I think I wore them out just getting me to the point I am at. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Look up John Weeks at Triple X Motorsports. He's in Pensacola.
