DOES ANY BODY know which is the better one for tuning SD OR MAF

It depends on what you're tuning, and the mods.

I lime the MAF tunes and depends how you modding the car.

Really need more info to see if you would benefit from a speed density tune---can you list your mods & year ?

I totally agree but find you a good tuner for this job....Maf tune will be alot better for a so so tuner to do.....

SORRY GUYS THE CAR IS 2000 CPE SIX SPEED, HEADS, CAM THAT HAS .600 LIFT, AND IN THE 240s. 92fast intake ported 90tb
42LB INJECTORS LT HEADERS HONKER AIR INTAKE XPIPE etc.

I tuned a 2000 C5 with an LS7 making 600 rwhp and is still using the MAF. The cam is a 248/254 on a 111 LSA.

That cam acts like a baby in a 427 though, comparatively speaking.


I'm not saying that it can't use a MAF, but I believe that the car will be more driveable (and I know it will be more snappy) with that size cam and stock cubes in CLSD.

For now go with the maf, you will be fine, But when, are if you go turbo, prochger, are up to this level then you will have to go with the SD tune are will lose are still have hp and tq on the table.
