Hypertech power programmer...

Howdy folks. Quick question about this handheld unit. Would it be more worthwhile to use this or use a mail-order tune from a reputable tuner ? My car is a '98 A4 coupe and would like the shifts a little firmer and the fans to come on at a lower temp (with the 160 thermostat). Don't plan on doing much more than the twin tube air intake and jettisoned accordion coupler on the TB.

The Hypertech is not worth the money. The A4 can be made into a different animal with proper tuning, which the Hypertech will not do. If you were closer, I have an excellent file for the A4's. I would find a reputable tuner in your area and you will be happier going this route.
