I was wondering the same thing. I have an '01 z06 with my only mod being vararam. Wasn't ever sure if it would be worth it to get a tune or not.

If it was my car (and $$) I'd wait until I installed headers or some other mod to do a tune. The vararam will help VE at speed, but probably not enough to "require" a tune unless you were doing it just for the performance increase over the "stock tune"

I have a Vararam and dyno tune. MY RWHP is 315. Did not test it before the Vararam was put on.

that sounds about right, as a stock c5 (i believe you have one?) will run around 300-305 rwhp

Just did a tune and dyno at 21st Century in Dallas. Those guys are great! Highly recommend if you're local. Have an 04 with Vararam and Z06 catbacks. Baselined at 320hp and 330 torque. After tune, had 335hp, and 338 torque. I've read that bone stock LS1 dyno's come in around 305hp.

On my 08 Vette, I went from 380 rwhp to 400 rwhp after the tune. The Vararam doesn't show all gains on the dyno.
