Default Wtb hp tuners at home course

I'm Interested in buying the HP Tuners at Home Course, Beginners level. If you have this and have grown beyond the beginner level I would like to have this so I can start figuring out what I am suppose to be doing.

shipped to 32514

There is no "Course" per se.
You buy the software and cable, and you are on your own.

Tuning information is available at the HPTuners website, but it can sometimes be a hassle to get answers to your questions there.

If you have no tuning experience, visit the website, and start reading the forums and threads specific to your year vehicle, and that will lead you in the right direction.

You may find out that it can sometimes be best to leave the tuning to the pros, although that does limit you to any retuning being done by them, also.

It truly depends on your goals for yourself and your car.

I tune my own car, but it can be challenging at times, to say the least.
I also generally street tune the car, rather than use a dyno, and that has it's own inherent problems.

If you decide to jump in with both feet and buy the software, I'd again suggest spending quite a bit of time on their forum, reading, reading, and reading!!

There is a lot of info there, and if you are committed to it, it can be a fun and challenging experience tuning your own car.

I have jumped in with both feet. They do have a "Beginners Study at home" version of their Seminar/Course. They are soon to have the Advanced version for the At Home study.

As far as I am concerned at the moment the course and the at home study are pricey to say the least and it's too bad that HP doesn't even include some type of user manual just to let you know what it is your looking at when you load the program.

I am learning a fair amount so far from the HP Forum but like you said it can be challenging. I am generally a hands on person so I am sure this will be yet another Harvard Education by the time I am finished, if ever.

There have been 2 study courses on the forums and I missed both of them by minutes. Luckily there are some really helpful members that have been invaluable in getting me started.

Let me Clairify, The tuning school has an HP Tuners Course, Both "in person" and "at home". That is the one I am looking for. I see where it sounded like I said HP Tuners had a course available.

Correct, I poked around and saw the info regarding the school.
Basically it is someone selling info on how to use HPTuners software.

I've never heard of them, but it may be a good deal for someone just getting started.

i went to the class and it was very helpful

The only class that trains you on to use the HP tuner program. then you actually dyno tune cars the next day

Im a knuckle dragger. I thought about getting the home unit, but I learn better hands on. To attend the class was much better for me. We did a day and a half of learning how to tune everything with HPT from bolt ons to force induction modified cars. we even did a FI truck with a vortex motor.

Then the second half of day two was applying that knowledge while dyno tuning for an additional 7 hours.

I got alot out of the second day with dyno tuning. I learned more over two days than i did reading a couple tuning books, and screwing around with the program over three years.
