Default ABS light stays on

I've got a 97 C5. All of a sudden my abs lite came on and won't stay off. All codes point to right front wheel incorrect speed readings and a torque code. There are alot of imature codes too.I saved the table on HP tuners. For some reason it won't reopen and car is not hear rt now.So I don't have the code #'s.I can clear them and the ABS will stay off until I hammer the car.If I drive normal it will stay off for awhile.Any Idea ? Also traction control is Inop when ABS light goes on. I'm leaning towards wheel sensor. It was replaced 2 yrs ago for something,Owner can't remember.Thanx in advance. Tom

Very common on 97-99's---My ABS lite comes on every time i drive over railroad tracks---I believe it is a bad ground on the wheel sensor or a dirty/frayed pigtail---Also i've heard that with some Stainless steel brake lines you will get a sensor code---don't know why--but i would again say a bad ground---

Default ABS light

I had an ABS problem on my 01 Vette, the dealer scanned it and it pointed toward the left wheel speed sensor so we replaced it. Dealer scanned it again and it still pointed to the same left wheel speed sensor. So I went online to module master and bought a rebuilt brake module or (EBCM) for $250, had the dealer install it and abs light, traction control and service active handling soon light disappeared and I haven't seen it since. Good luck
