Hi
Was wondering
TrickFlow 215cc for LS-block, are there many types of them? Have seen for example 2 sets . the.... diffrent you´ll see is that other has diffrent type of pushrods, their shorter and more space for roller-rocker in the other one, is that the only diffrent or?
Are there any flow diffrences? diffrent perform or?
I haven't seen more than one kind of TFS 215's. They do sell the CNC 215's or the as cast TFS 220. Other than milling, spring options, etc. that is all that I am aware of!

Is it possible that they updated the orginal heads 215, too make more room for roller rocker, and then they offcourse made pushrod shorter.
Why do you say this?...can you provide a link or site where you are seeing this?
no , no link, i saw both sets whith my own eyes, whith same part nr. both from Trickflow, but it was not the same length on the pushrods, and i saw that the seats for the rocker-arms was lower in the set that has lower pushrods.... so it mst be some updade because they did have to flycut to close the head... because of the rocker-arms..
When the 215s came out, they called for a 7.7" pushrod length.
They were revised (not sure how long after introduction - maybe a year), and now call for 7.5" pushrods, which suggests there were some substantial revisions made to the rocker stand angle. I think the revisions were initially done when it became discovered stock rockers didn't work with these heads, and/or to create more clearance for the necessary aftermarket roller rockers.
One other change they made too was enlarging the pushrod holes. As I've read, the originals were so tight even a straight 5/16" would rub.
I'm not sure how many of the "early" versions are out there, but I assume it's a fair number since these heads were quite popular since introduced.
Contacting TEA would be your best bet if you have any specific questions or concerns about the changes.

what are you meening here, how can i know if it´s rubbing, i have harland shapard 1.7 and very high lift camshaft, and the first heads TFS whith 7,7" length, there has been done a flycut in the valve-gasket, because it´s a tight fit there... i have once broken an rocker-arm....
