Default The Tuning School Live seminar class January 17-18th, Tampa FL

Hey guys!

We've got the details ironed out, and the date has been set for our Tampa seminar on tuning with HP Tuners! This will be our second class in Tampa and the first in our new training facility. Our new facility is equipped with both a nice air conditioned classroom and a Loaded chassis dyno, where several students will actually dyno tune their own cars on day 2 - and every student will tune on the dyno.

Want some more details on what usually happens in the seminar? Check out this video from the Dallas, Texas class: http://www.thetuningschool.com/tuningschooldallas.wmv

Students have left feedback from our last Tampa Class in this thread, as well as the Dallas Class too; so if you are wondering if you should... Read this!
http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226212

Pictures of the last Tampa Class are here as well:

So if you always wanted to learn how to tune - in an interactive laptop based class and hands on tuning time, this is it! In addition to the class, you get access to our private forum, as well as one full year of tuning tech support!

Students bring laptops and their HP Tuners software (or demo software provided if they don't own it yet) and follow along on day one through a complete tuning session in the classroom with video and laptop tuning learning. Day 2 is spent in the morning completing the session in the class, then to the dyno where students will actually tune a few of their OWN cars!

Cost is $650. We provide breakfast and lunch for both days, and the full year of tuning tech support is included as well as the learn @ home materials so you don't leave empty handed.

To register, call 727-233-1195, or email bob@pm-fl.com. We can provide local hotel information if you need it.

Please email bob@pm-fl.com or just PM me to register or ask questions!

Location:
11505 Pyramid Drive, Odessa FL 33556.

Thanks,
Bob

Default Complex tune?

My car has a Lingenfelter 90mm TB, a 90mm SNL Performance MAF, a ProCharger P1SC-1 supercharger, an ALKY Control Methanol Injection system, and a few other goodies.

Are you going to be able to train how to tune with all these mods?

Sure, that would be in the forced induction section of the class. Actually, the entire weekend is focused on tuning a Forced induction, Heads/cam car. We use that as the example because it's the most in depth to tune. The materials you take home with you (which consist of our learn @ home materials as well) include 200+ pages and laminated checksheets so you don't forget what you learn in class.

Thanks,
Bob

Maybe you can do a live web cam feed for those who can't make the drive? I'd be interested in something like that for sure.

I've learned so much from the @ home coarse. Wish I had the cash for the Live Class. Maybe I can catch it the next time around.
Thanks for helping us novice out Bob

Thanks for the info. I need to learn how to tune these things since I live in Utah and there are no tuners here and it can be a paibn to do the tune via internet. You retired Navy? I'm retired Air Force.

I learned alot from the @home course but there's no substitute for the live class.
Learned 10 times more from the class than the training material alone.
The teachers; Bob, Scott, and Larry were awesome.
And, of course, a free dyno tune during class for my vette is definitely a bonus!
Bob, I need the Advanced book as soon as it is available!
Thanks

This was a great class and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in tuning their own car (or even to help verify a professional tune). TRIZ's car was amazing on the dyno, it was quiet and had a stock idle but made HUGE power.

I had a great time in the class. very professional and knowledgeble.

They did a great job explaining HPTuner software. We went step by step, and forced us to sit on the dyno with a car and tune it to get over our fear. Bob made it comfortible for every level.

Since TRIZ throw an elbow at me and got his car in front of mine on the dyno, I need to book some dyno time bob. But I had to bow to his crazy self build !!

If the class was crap, Id tell you, but it wasnt. It was very helpful. Easely could have been a three day course.

Take it if you get a chance
