I have recently had a chev dealer install an L/92 427 in my 98 C5 w/rpm level 5 trans and 3.42 gears. The dealer started the car with the 346 tun on the car in order to top off the tranny with fluid. I calibrated the pcm w/427 tune but noticed when I started the car no maf , cam, oil pressure sensors were plugged in so I shut the car down. There were no trouble codes at that time. About week later the dealer said they were ready again for me to tune again, but this time they drove it on the freeway for about a half hour before I got there, I read the pcm and the P000 DTC was there. I worked on the tune for 45 minutes because they said it wouldnt idle when put in gear. A crank relearn was then required. The car now idles and transitions really well from park to drive. The battery was stone dead because they left the key in. They said that they had to jump it twice prior to that. Now my voltage reads 12.9, were as before it was 13.7-9. Is the pcm damaged? The car runs great now but the DTC P0000 shows up 4 places, Mainly the PCM. Any input would be appreciated.
Yes I do use EFILive.
Thank you very much! I was worried. The install has been a weird journey, But this should be it. EFILive really made the idle tuning from p/n to drive fairly easy so much that even I was surprised. The L/92 427 from SDPC is a monster. Almost unbelievable, even though the tech wasnt suppose to drive it, they were raving over it, and very impressed with EFILive and are going to purchase it for special applications. Again Thank You!

When NO trouble codes are set the pcm will respond with the P0000 but should not show up in the scanner as to no confuse anyone into wondering why am I getting an error code & what does the P0000 DTC mean.
