Range of low 1800.00 to high of 2500.00. Lot of work. I know, I did my own.

I just had mine done (labor only) $600

The guy was REALLY good and fast as well.

He's done a lot of vettes and has a few time saving tricks.

I watched the whole show, and he even let me rebuild my tranny at his shop.

Sorry, i'm in the southeast, but WOW some guys are good.

Default what about in Boston area?

Hi,

I just got a 00 coupe, it has 55k on it, and the clutch seems to
be picking up a bit high, and sometimes when I shift from 1 to 2nd i feel it doesn't feel as smooth, so I guess I should be looking for one in the market as-well :/

Any good place I could trust around boston area you guru's might know?

That is in line with that I get as well.

$1800 to $2500 is wayyy to much. I just price for half of what the dealer does.

In general it is as follows:
$600 labor
$125 new slave
+ clutch
~$450 C6Z clutch and flywheel (would have to check current price)
$995 for Text single.
$1279 dual

I am in Knoxville, but let me know if you are interested.

Also .. give RPM a call. He would probably do it as well. Not sure what he charges, etc.

I had some work done at StraightLine in New Lenox and they did a good job! If you call them, ask for Mini Mike.

There is also Power House Performance in Orland Park. I believe the Person to talk to is John.

Good Luck!

PowerHouse Website.............

StraightLine info..................

Both Powerhouse and Straightline Performance are great places. I would recommend going to Straightline. They had my car for about 3 months and are finally at the dyno stages and they did awesome work at a great price. I'm about to put a textralia clutch in my car and they said labor is around $450. Call and ask for Mikey (little mike). He will definetly take care of you.

Anyone have an idea what the official GM flat rate time is for that job and for the experts who have done a few, how long does it really take?

I can usually get them done in 5 hours - add $$$ for Longtubes because they have to be removed. We charge $450 without longtubes.
