Default Can't Change Timing??

I'm using HPT. 98vette

I was at a dyno today doing some tuning. We would change the Main Spark Advance tables under low and high octane and then do a pull and every time the timing once I was at wot would go to 26.5 and not budge.

What am I missing?? We lowered it up to 5 degress and it didn't change anything at wot??

Please advise??
