There are alot of things to consider in a tune besides extra power, although that is the main reason most people tune. The C5 Z06 tunes were pretty hot right from GM, but there is always room for improvement.
On a bone stock Z06 10-15rwhp is realistic.
Some other things to consider are improved throttle response, setting your rev limiters where you'd like, and the ability to even improve mileage slightly.

Thanks
Mike

Exactly--only 10-15 HP left on the table from GM on any C5--with an A4 you can do a lot of tuning on the trans to make it faster without adding any HP--sometimes I've gained from .250 to .500 in the 1/4 mile---
O a Z06 or a manual--you can delete the skip-shift--AFR ratio adj.--add small amount of timing--get your LTFT's in line--set the Limiter up higher-- take out the delays--that's the basics of it

I got 13rwhp and 4 more mpg with a tune on my old 02 z06 The throttle response seems faster and smoother.

I downloaded performance tune to my 02z,it pretty stock except for intake and I could feel slight performance gain, alittle better throttle responce, but my fuel milage increased 2-3 mpg.I also lowerd my my fan ingagement temp.as I have 180 t-stat.I would like more but I live in Ca.so it is tough.I think the predator was worth it.
