Knock Sensors & Jesel Rockers
Do Jesel rockers upset knock sensors? I posted this in tech but no response. I'm going to the Dyno for a tune as soon as we finish a couple things. Engine in C-5R 427,F1-C Procharger , NOS. The ET 265 cc runner heads require JESEL or some other offset rockers. Anyone had this problem?

I have Yella Terra shaft rockers similar to the jesels but I think yours are shafted accross all the rockers where mine are shfted just in pairs----I had the same problem with false KR. The engine is quite a bit noisier than stck and it spooked me -I talked to them and they said not to worry--the false KR on mine came in at a weird time about 2400-2800 RPM's so not under a load--some kind of harmonics--What I did was to de-sensitize the sensors at the exact point where it was hapening and it quit--took some trial and error to get it right but now i have no false KR but it still will show some at load and WOT if it is present--There are several tables in the KR files--maybe 10-15 so you have to be careful when making the changes---If you want I can look up the tables i used that did it for me--and let you know---I have EFILIVE---Tom

I have Jesels shaft mounted rockers on mine. I actually don't see any knock from them. They are a bit noisier (audibilly) though. I also thought it was abnormal, but I cab't adjust the noise out of them and they seem to be doing good...

Thanks to both of you. tblu92, I would like those tables for the tuner. This motor is just finished so that would help find a problem If one pops up.

B6245-----Knock sensor Multiplier "B" cylinder mode
Higher values de-sentisizes sensors
20 KPA to 60 KPA change from 4.0 to 5.5
65 KPA to 75 KPA change from 1.0 to 1.2
80 KPA to 90 KPA change from 1.0 to 1.5
95 KPA to 100 KPA change from 1.0 to 1.4
B6226-----Knock sensor frequency

The tables I used and the adjustments I made were as follows --these worked well for me---the tables are EFILIVE #'s but you can cross them over to anyone's programmer--
