Default Yank SS3200. Need tune after install?

A while back I had some LG SS headers installed and some tuning done with LS1 edit by the local tuner. Since then the tuner has had family problems and moved out of state. I know have a Yank SS3200 and tranny cooler that are yet to be installed. There is a good local vette mechanic who I think can handle the job, but he has just GM tuning equipment. Is a tune going to be necessary for this setup? Will I be ok running the tune I have now? Thanks in advance!

Not necessary, but the converter makes things soggy under the LU, and some firming up of the tranny tuning would help. The spark /fuel tuning can be adjusted for the higher stall to also make things a little more like normal, but I bet there are quite a few guys that just leave it be, but it really depends on how perfect you want it.

I know who you are talking about and he about ruined my car when he tuned it (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...php?t=1638691), and others had so many problems that they were about to sell their cars. If you want a perfect tune, contact BlownZ06 on here and talk to him. He lives in west Knoxville so it would be a much shorter drive for you. He does very good work and he is very anal about getting it right. He uses HP Tuners and is very proficient with it.
