I do not need to have a perminat install, just one for tuning. A step by step would br great if anyone has done one on a vette, like where to hook up the ground, hots ect ect. THX

I don't know all the wire colors, but essentially, I used the connector from my old O2 sensor to connect the WB heater ground and 12 volt power. That should leave three wires to run inside your car--the calibration ground, WB output ground and power which connect to the IO adapter of your tuning package.

Which tuning package do you have?

Did you just cut and splice the wires to your narrowband or did you find some type of adapter to connect the two (the narrowband and the LC-1)?

Also, where on your car did you ground them to?

Thanks!

I'm running HP Tuners with the EIO.

I removed my narrowband O2 and put the wideband in it's place. The LC-1 can simulate a NB O2. I used the plug from my NB O2 to create a harness for the WB 02 and sim wires. I'll try to find a wiring diagram of the plug and post it up.

As far as grounding goes. I believe there are 3 grounds that need to be taken care of.
1) Heater ground- Used the NB O2 connector. It basically grounds to the engine block via the body of the O2 housing.
2) Calibration ground- Installed my calibration switch and LED in my ashtray. Grounded it behind the radio console.
3) WB output- Connected it to the EIO ground, which grounds to the PCM via the ODB2 connector.

Here's a pin-out of the NB O2 plug---
BTW, Low (-) and High (+) (A/B) are the NB signal.
