predator power supply...

does anyone know the details of the power adapter for the predator? I can't seem to find the adapter for mine and thus, my predator is useless. I'm certain radioshack would have something to power it with, but I still need to know the voltages/amps it requires. jesselukeboyer@Hotmail.com if you know or can find out

From the Diablosport website:
"Hardware Required:
- 12VDC, 1.0A Power Supply, 2.5mm x 5.5mm Plug
(Available at Radio Shack and Wal-Mart)
- 9 pin, Male to Female, Straight through Serial Cable Extension
(Radio Shack part no: 26.117B)

This is only for use with a PC, when downloading customtune files. If you are just wanting to download the tune to the car, you only need the Predator. Power is supplied by the cars 12v system. I believe that is one reason everybody says not to use anything power on the car while downloading a tune.
