Default Best tuner close to Southwest Va??

Hey guys!!!

I just got my H/C Z16 back together and need a good tune.
I have an appointment with CAM in Durham, Nc Thursday, but have been reading some things on other boards that have me second guessing on taking the car down there.

I live in Southwest Va, about 1.5 hours north of Knoxville and about 45 minutes west of Bristol. Who would you guys recommend??

Thanks!!

You will read good & bad on everyone............Jeff has done our 97' and 00' vert and they are fine...........even tweaks them at the track free of charge when he is there.
The other option is Bob of http://www.dragonsbreathperformance.com/
He isn't too far from ya, is a supporting Tuner on here and I like him
Happy tuning,
Steve

I know his work and have talked to him in person on many occasions to pick his brain...............We started taking a C6 Z06 apart at last years CF CI and were told to put it back together now!

IF I didn't do my own mech work, I would let him for sure. If he wasn't so far for me I would also let him tune my junk
Just be careful of mail order tunes............if they have done that exact setup on a C5 before they should be close....nothing beats a dyno/road tune.
PS, Our 00' coupe has a mail order tune from Steve Cole via http://www.ttspowersystems.com/pl2_GAS.htm
It just has cold air, LTs & cat back with stock engine, TC and 3.15..........but runs 12.47@112 in good air

Do not belive the crap on another board, esp the loacl one in NC. Jeff Creech is a great tuner, and he and his guys do great work. They have done everything to my car, and I never had any negative issues, ever!

Jeff is awesome and a great tuner, and he has seen it all with LSx motors and knows what works. Damn I wish I would have seen this as Iw oudl have met you up there, as I allways need an excuse to head up to the shop, and the 100 mile trip is fun
Dave
PS What did it put down? Which heads? cam???
