Default Getting Code P1516 after Shaner TB and Halltech Stinger

I installed a Shaner ported TB and Halltech Stinger on my 98 C5. I am getting a PCM code 1516 often. "Reduced Engine Power" on DIC and car has no power. I pull over, clear code and runs fine. Will a dynotune fix this problem or is there something wrong with TPS sensor. Anyone else had this problem? TIA for any help. It is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeremy.

Sounds like the PCM is not seeing the voltages at the TPS that it expects. Are you seeing this at just extreme throttle positions? I recall seeing people fiddling with getting these adjusted, try a search. It sounds too me like a TB issue, not tuning.

Maybe something along these lines:

Ignore the predicted airflow flow comments there, they're relevant only if you're seeing a P1514, not a P1516.

One other thought is that there was a TAC module service bulletin ages ago that addressed a condition that would trigger this code. I doubt that's your issue and that your car has had that update, but something to be aware of.

I am getting the same P1516 code. TB is stock, anyone know the part number I might need?

Thanks,
Jason
