New to EFI tuning where to start

My buddy has a 98 vert. We will be building a stroker motor for her this winter. Got all the bases covered as far as machine work and assembly. Built tons of circle track sbc's. Had about 30 out in one season at the local track. Any way don't know jack about EFI tuneing, just carbs. Want to get feet wet with this kind of tuneing. What's needed and where to get it, and how to use it is my question? He's good at tuneing, and I'm not too bad with the keyboard. So what's what??? I'm thinking about a C4 stroker build also, same tune stuff used or is it totally different?
