Does anyone make a handheld programmer worth buying for a 97MN6. Mods blackwing, Gran MAF, high flow duct, LS6 intake, TPIS headers, R/T high flow cats, Borla exhaust, 170 thermostat, and TB bypass. Looking for something to fine adjust my ride.

With a grannatelli MAF I would not recommend the hypertech. Mine threw codes with this combo. Email Mr. Grannatelli, he may custom tune your MAF for your mods. He did it for me. I could probably find his email if you are interested.
If you are looking to fine tune your car, I would not suggest a handheld. What I would suggest is that you have your car tuned by a professional, on a dyno-period. Handhelds are nice if you just want to play around with a few things, but they dont let you get in-depth with your vehicle. Find someone with a quality rep. to do your dyno tune. I would also suggest that you buy your own software(LS1 edit probably) so with your laptop(and when you learn how) you can do all your own custom tuning.

from another post: With my Predator, I removed the A4 Torque Management, changed shift points, changed the rev limiter, lowered the cooling fan "On" temp, firmed up the shifts, increased timing, and tuned my AFR.
Quite a lot accomplished with just a "handheld".
But, I would agree that any car that has extensive mods (H/C or blower)... a handheld ain't-gonna-do-it

I'm still looking at all possible options. Locally (Tulsa, OK) a shop wants $650 for LS1edit and dynoed until it's right, but I'm still doing research.

When I checked on dyno tune prices last year, they were anywhere from $350 to $450. Have prices gone up that much ?
Another shop in the KC, KS area told me they could do LS1 edit and 3 dyno pulls for $500. Close to home these are the only prices I've found within a 300 mile radius.
