Turning off Running lights before tune

I have put in and taken out the Preditor Tune several times but no matter what I do, such as putting on the emergency brake first, the running lights still come on. How do I turn off the running lights during tuning? Or is it not a big problem to have them on? Thanks for the help! Steve

I have loaded programs from EFIlive into my o3 coupe with no problems due to running lights. Just make sure everything else is shut off & the doors closed when programing. I have no reason to think that preditor would be any different.

Have the key OUT when you set the parking brake, then attach Predator and insert key.

If all else fails, pull fuse #2 (under hood).
