Default Open Loop Required

Anyone else required to run in Open Loop with these mods? I can't seem to find any thread addressing the issue through search. This has been an outstanding issue for some time. My mechanic tells me that the LGM O2 placement will not work properly with either of the OEM O2 sensors.

Upgrades include:

AFR 205 milled .024
224/228 114 LSA
LGM LT with random cats
FAST 78mm Intake
30lb Fuel Injectors
LS6 ported Oil pump
Performance Dampner

Thanks

Why would your mechanic tell you the O2 placement would not work.

I don't have AFR heads, but have the same headers, etc. you have and my car works perfectly.

More information may help... but you will have to modify the wiring harness to get the sensors in the exhaust. I used the rear sensors and put them in the holes replacing the connectors from the fronts on them.

Both of the sensors are the same, one just has a longer wire and a different plug than the other one.

You have to use the front wiring from the car.. B1S1 and B2S1 the S2 ones only will not work.

Hope that helps you.

Call LGM.
They will sell you an adapter to run the rear O2 sensors in place of the front sensors. This usually cures the front O2 sensor DTCs.
Then disable the rears in the PCM.
