keep in mind that the wideband sensor MUST BE powered up at all times when engine is running. Heated wideband O2 sensors will degrade quickly if left in an active exhaust stream unpowered.
I added an additional bung on the passenger side and - initially - just ran the cable through the window to make readings. After I made tuning changes (via my Predator) I took the LM-1 and sensor out.
I saw no reason to leave it in and connected, after my tuning had been completed.
I eventually made a 1 foot pigtail that runs through a corner of the floor board. So if I even want to retune (or just check it again) I can reinstall the sensor and oplug it into one end fo the pigtail. Then with the other end of the pigtail in the inside of the cockpit - it negates me from running the cable out the window.
