OK I have been reading. Fiannly about ready to purchase. I do have some years programmign experience. but old school. GMepro, Tuner Cats.
In a nut shell I would like to be able to program my 01 vette and my 2000 Tahoe.
Seems like HP tuners will support this for the money. They allow for 2 programs. EFI live only gives one vin.
Another item I like is.... the box recording(no lap top needed in car for like 20 min recording. EFI live has this HP tuners does not( I think)
Finally they both allow for W/B input . Which I have a Innovate LM-1 to connect up.
Any input to my needs?
They both seems to program/ scan for my needs. Mild Heads/cam, headers, gear and convertor.
Thanks
Dennis

Ford or Chevy, blondes or brunettes, Coke or Pepsi... EFI Live or HP Tuners. You can't go wrong with either. I prefer HPT (Chevy, blondes, and Coca-Cola). I have to admit that the black-box recording is an innovative feature and I wish that HPT could add it. If you get HPT, then you'll be able to tune any '01 Vette and '00 Tahoe/Suburban. (If that's something that is of any value to you.)
My 2 cents....
