FS/Trade: Custom Z06/FRC stereo system
This is the same system that was for sale a few months ago on the board by blacksn95. I was the buyer of his vette and bought the system on the side. It has been sitting in my closet since then and I haven't had a chance to put it in. I have decided that I would rather have some performance mods instead. I think that I am going to keep the head unit, so all you would need is a new head unit to install this system.
Precesion Power (PPI) 4125 4 ch amp <----- awesome
2 10w4 DVC JL 10" subs
Focal Kevlar 165 6 piece 6 1/2" seperates w/ adjustable passive focal crossovers mounted in custom baffled pods for direct boltin to the C5 door cavity thats neatly tie-wrapped and layed out which also includes a 45* tweeter mound for good sound image
Pioneer 2 way 5 1/4 rear speakers
4 awg wire and some nice RCA's, inline fuse, misc hookup cables
1 farad Lignting capacitor
Fiberglass/composite box for subs/amp aranagement <---took blacksn95 ~ 40 hrs to build
trim for amp rack, truck detail, and trunk floor; no wires visible
All the info I cut and pasted from blacksn95's old ad and I cant add much more info as I don't know a lot about stereos. I can provide pictures of everything upon request. I am asking $800obo plus shipping or pickup in the DFW area for everything or will consider any trades for things like long tube headers, engine mods, gears, or a good nitrous system for my 99 FRC. I have now decided to include the head unit for an extra $200. It is an alpine cd/mp3 unit w/ remote. It also has all the hook ups to fit in our cars. I will have pics of it tonight if anyone is interested.
