They have email contact and phone # listed...ask them for the VIN# and verify it. Also ask for the actual mileage..I highly doubt it says 0 on the odometer as stated on that page. If you don't have the means to verify it, post it (the VIN) here, as there are forum members here who can get every detail about the car, color, and options, etc. If it's a fake, it would certainly become apparent quickly.

If they sell all tickets, they're getting $50,000 out of it, so they make out good on the deal assuming it is legit and they have the car to give away.

Why do you say it is a lottery? It's more like a raffle. If it is legit, someone will win the car. Lottery may not have a winner, but this is not a lottery.

I am not lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.

Unfortunately to me this seems to have scam written all over it. Someone needs to verify this before people lose money. I for one am only 15 mins from Brooklyn and will gladly take a drive to verify the car exists.

Private raffles are also illegal. If they are caught, they can be fined much more then they make, in addition to having to give back the funds.

If they do this under a non-profit organization, it can be under the law, but the ad implies otherwise. Even if under a non-profit, there are specific laws (getting more stringent) such as not being able to mail the tickets, etc. The NCM raffles Corvettes, you can call them and ask them about the legalities, I'm sure they'd know...

Even the Museum won't send their raffle tickets through the mail. You have to call & get your number(s) over the phone.
