(UPDATE)C5 Scissor Doors From West Coast Corvettes(UPDATE)
Guys
We just did an install on the doors and they are pretty easy for someone who has mechanical experience. They do have to remove each side fender which requires removing the headlight assy's. Also trimming is required to the inside of the fenders and doors but nothing that will be seen or that needs painting.
It can easily be put back to stock at anytime.
First of all the kit is listing at $2795 and would cost that if you contacted the Mfg. We are listing them at $2695 and have sold about 5 at that price. We do not manufacture these or set the prices. They may be expensive in some of your eyes but I am sure there is a lot of R & D in them therefore they are trying to recoup some of their cost.
The GP at $1800 is close to our cost. We are only offering this price to the Forum members at this time and it will only be $1800 for a limited time ( about 2 weeks ). After this GP we will be at $2695 less the Forum 10% discount which will be a cost of $2425.50 to those who do not get in on this GP. We are already getting heat from the Mfg so there is no guaranty that this GP will even go the 2 weeks. For any of you who want to stop by WCC in Placentia, we will have a few cars in next week (6-28) for installation for you to look at.
Here are the pixs.
We are running the GP on the Verticle Door kit .
The pricing is as follows:
1-4 $2200
5-9 $2000
10 or more $1800

I like the look, minus the fagly wing. If the kit was a bit lower in price, I would go for it.

Re: C5 Scissor Doors From West Coast Corvettes (WCC PAUL)
Are these maunally operated? Do you have a version that opens up and closes with an electric motor? I need to look at more pictures of these vertical doors. It's the same car and same pictures everybody shows on their website to sell this kit.
Anyway, I find them cool unlike the others. I would buy it if you can offer them at $1,800.

2200$ just for metal brackets?
thats some major CORVETTE TAX
same kits for a ricer go for about 500$ depending on application

Looks cool and it's different to say the least. Even if it was for free, I would not add 33 pounds to my car.

I love the look of scissor doors on the vette. I don't think $2200 is bad considering many corvette parts are more expensive than parts for other cars.

Those doors are killer. I couldn't part with that money however for a door mod-- Thats' a H&C kit.

I like them. It should make parking and opening the doors in tight spaces, like an enclosed trailer, realily easy.

Re: C5 Scissor Doors From West Coast Corvettes (AKFINEST)
That's what these kits cost on nearly all cars. The good kits, even for Honda's, etc are at this price stated above.
No Corvette "tax" on these.
I think it looks very good.
