LS6 Intake Manifold Buyers
It seems that every LS6 manifold that comes up on the CF is sold very quickly. Are there enough of us that could purchase from a CF vendor at a significant savings. Mid America sells for $499. Would a 25% saving with freight prepaid be something of interest? What do you think??? :grouphug:

You might try GMpartsdirect. they are a CF vendor. You just need the GM part number.... They have low prices, might work for you

Not to hijack the thread, but ...... gmpartsdirect.com has an explanation on their web site about their shipping and handling charges.
Basically, according to them, they sell the parts at their cost, and then add in the shipping / handling charges, which go towards paying overhead, and a small profit.
It makes sense, and I've bought a few items there, that even after their s/h fees, were much cheaper than I was quoted from my local dealer.

I absolutely hate it when a co quotes a cheap price then inflates the shipping. Why would they bury overhead and "small profit" charges into shipping? Those are all part of what determines the selling price of an item, not its shipping charge.

Just left Miamimotorsports website. LS6 manifold sells for $365 + $10.00 shipping. But it's my understanding that you need to also have to purchase the coolant pipe for $20.64 + $7.99 shipping and 2 each of the coolant plugs @ $2.46 each + $7.99 shipping for each. Total = $424.53. Let me know if I am mistaken, but I don't think so. If we could talk to them a get a group purchase together, say 6-10 units, wonder what they would sell for.
Thanks,

another one from SLP http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...&SHOWEMAIL=Off
looks like all parts included for $399 plus $22 for shipping, so $421 total if I read correct.

Re: LS6 Intake Manifold Buyers (alamo1974)
I purchased my LS6 intake from Miami Motorsports about 3 months ago. All I ordered was the intake, and all I got was the intake. They don't REQUIRE you to purchase anything else.
I was very pleased with them...they took Paypal, and it was shipped immediately. Very quick.
