ISO C5 Trunk tub
I am looking for a new OEM or NOS trunk tub for my black 2002 Z06. I unfortunately was tagged in a parking lot by a hit and run. Dealer and body shop say that they cannot find any.

I'm sure Vettenuts has them. However, they will be used. I know some insurances and repair shops refuse to use anything but new parts. For something like this, used should work just fine.

Your only source, besides an owner parting out a car, may be a used parts vendor.
And I am moving this over to C5 Parts for Sale/Wanted.

Melting Slicks
How bad is it? On a z/hardtop, I’m pretty sure they have to remove the top to replace the tub. Taking the top off often leads to windshield cracking…top being removed leads to leaking…
can it be repaired? Might be the better way to go.

I agree 1000% repairing the tub is the better way to go. You may consider cutting and splicing from a used tub, instead of taking the roof off of your HT.
Good luck!! XmP
