Brembo GT front and rear big brake kit, red calipers, never used!
On offer is a front and rear Brembo Gran Turismo front and rear brake system. We bought this system for R&D purposes back when we started our aftermarket brake kit program at Essex. The kit is 98% complete and has never been installed on a vehicle. All four calipers, caliper mounting brackets, 2-piece discs, and brake lines are included. We believe there may be one or two small widgets missing (spring clip, disc mounting hardware, pad spring clip), but nothing critical or very costly to replace. This complete front/rear kit retails for $7,700, and the extra Ferodo pad set included is worth $575 (total of $8,275). We are asking $5,800 + shipping OBO, which is 30% off the retail price! We will not separate the front and rear...being sold as a complete front/rear kit only, so please don't ask.
This kit was designed to fit all C6 years and trim levels. It should also fit all C5 years and trims with a different set of brake lines (the inboard fitting is different on the C5 and C6). I'd suggest checking with Race Technologies prior to purchase to be sure however.
You can learn more about this system here: https://www.brembo.com/en/car/sporti...raking-systems
Spare or replacement parts can be sourced from Brembo's North American distributor, Race Technologies: https://www.racetechnologies.com/
Front part #1M2.8029A2, MSRP $3,995, and includes:
I was able to find the wheel fitment charts for these kits. Here's how to use these charts: https://www.racetechnologies.com/art...rake-clearance
The most important thing is to double check a measurement on your printed copy to make sure it has printed to proper scale.

Front part #1M2.8029A2, MSRP $3,995, and includes:
- Six piston Mono6 (monobloc) calipers painted red
- Two-piece floating 355x32mm slotted discs with zinc coating
- Goodridge stainless brake lines
- Caliper mounting brackets and hardware
- Typically requires 18" wheels or larger, and I have a wheel fitment template that I can email you if you want to check your wheels.
- One set of Ferodo DS1.11 racing pads, and 3 of the 4 Ferodo FM1000 pads that typically come with this kit (1 pad is missing)
- We believe this kit includes everything that originally came with it except for the 1 pad puck noted above.
- Four piston Mono4 (monobloc) calipers painted red
- Two-piece floating 345x28mm slotted discs with zinc coating
- Goodridge stainless brake lines
- Caliper mounting brackets and hardware
- One set of Ferodo FM1000 brake pads (come standard in this kit)
- One of the rear discs is missing a few pieces of hardware that attach it to the aluminum hat (see pics below)...again, cheap and easy to replace.

Are you talking stock '01 Z06 wheels, or base/Z51 wheels? The Z06 wheels have a fair amount of clearance and there is a chance they would fit. The standard wagon wheels and the like on the base and Z51 cars have very little brake clearance, and almost certainly will not fit. I'll see if I can chase down the wheel fitment templates for these kits. Thanks.
