Default Brand new Bilstein B6 shocks - set of 4 NO LONGER FOR SALE

NO LONGER FOR SALE. ADMIN PLEASE DELETE

My mistake might be your gain. I didn’t read the fine print and ordered B6 shocks when I intended to order B8 shocks. My car is lowered, and the B6 bodies are just a little too long. I will say these are vast improvement in ride quality over the old stock shocks that were on the car. I’m just concerned they may bottom out on real bumpy roads.

I paid $535 with tax and shipping. I’m asking $425 shipped in the original boxes with all mounting hardware.

Please DM me if interested.

Somebody will get a good deal. I highly recommend Bilstein, as my car came with them from the previous owner, and the ride and handling are far superior to the OEM units.

Part numbers are 24-029759 (front) and 24-029766 (rear). I did an alignment at the same time I installed the shocks, and the car rides like a completely different car. The 22-year old select ride shocks were junk. They will fit a Z06 as long as you haven't lowered it a bunch. They don't bottom out on my lowered car, but they are close, and I don't like the fact that they are working in the last little bit of their travel range on a lowered car.

Thanks for looking.

Also have a Z06. How does it ride differently? Just tighter? I lowered the rear on stock bolts but haven't touched the front.

On the old factory shocks, the car darted around pretty bad over bumps and dips in the road. Ride was pretty harsh also. The Bilsteins (and/or the alignment) made a huge difference. Ride is firm but not harsh and the car tracks nice and true over the bumps and dips.

How many miles are on them? And did you change to B8's?

I installed them 6 weeks ago, and this is just a weekend car. So I'm guessing between 500 and 1000 miles on them. My intent was to order the B8s in the first place, so I plan to order them as soon as a sell these.
