Any updates? I'm in if the price comes in around $700. The first thing that pops in my head whenever I sit in the car is steering wheel is too big and cheap looking

Hi
We're actually stil working on fine tuning the C6 prototype - first drives showed that there are still some issues with airbag and plastic trims fitment. Everything works, including airbag mounts and connectors as well as all contriol buttons. After a few prototypes, we're now working with the fabricator on adjusting the mold so that fitment is perfect and everything sits flush. I whink we need a few weeks until we're ready to provide a 100% perfect product.
In the meantime - a few photos from first test drives:
Please remain patient guys, we really prefer to spend more time on R&D than provide you with sub-par product too fast.
I'll be posting results as they come for sure!

I know of course. C6 wheel was just a prototye, but we're also working on smaller wheel for C5 - that is why I am posting it here.
We're still working on it, it turned out to be a bit more complex than we initially thought.
Hope to have some updates before Christmas.

Our estimations are around $990 shipped - it really is a labor intensive project that requires precise machinerry and highly qualified technicians - that is why it took so long to develop - we had to find a company that will ensure that the best technology available is applied to this product.

I thought Jack said he would have a smaller wheel available for C5s last fall. Must have run into some snags when he was prototyping it. Hope he works out the kinks in it soon because I want to be on the list of it asap.

We don't need any, actually this project has been going on for the last few months - it just takes a lot of time, work and adjustments to make sure we will provide a wheel than will not only be smaller but also fully functional, comfortable and SAFE for you.
And it looks like we're getting closer - we're now in the process of 3D printing the prototypes and fine tuning the shape and spoke ends where the rim meets the airbag cover:

How is the gauge visibility with the smaller wheel?
