Went to an 18x10.5 z06 square setup on my Z. Still have the original 17 inch wheels with 275/40-17 continental extreme contact tires on them. Good all around street tire, these have plenty of life left. Bought them in late 2015 i believe. One of the wheels has some very minor pitting along the inside of the rim, while the other is still perfect.
Small section of curb rash is the worst spot of either wheel.

The 17's have gotten difficult to find at a reasonable price. I found a set last fall for $ 200 plus shipping. Both wheels were unmarked and mint. Caps were included.
