The clamps included with the kit aren't the U bolt style, they are the style you recommend I just think they are cheap versions. They aren't getting hammered down any tighter and there is still play in the mufflers. I'm probably going to go the welding route to make sure it is perfect.

Any tip alignment tips? I got the kit on last night and it sounds great, very rowdy! The tips are contacting the bumper and the clamps are so so. Any tips on good clamps?

Initial review of the kit is good, just need to get it dialed in.

Thx,
Mike

Do the Torca Accuseal 2.5" clamps work better than the supplied clamps? If so I'll order a set.

The torca accuseals are excellent, I am currently using them on my xs power exhaust, supplied clamps are useless junk.

I actually can't comment on the provided clamps as they forgot to ship them to me.

They were quick to send me some, but while waiting, I went ahead and bought some accuseal clamps since they literally substitute a weld in this system and are a critical component in holding the exhaust together.

If they're the crude "U" style clamps, ditch them.

If they're a accuseal "style" clamp, they may be fine.

But those authentic accuseal clamps are EXCELLENT. Can't go wrong. The online bidding website had them cheapest

Is the sale still on for the headers? I'm thinking of getting another set of these.

These clamps are MONEY for this exhaust. They hold everything perfect and are ungodly amazing. Sorry, they just worked so great I had to sing their praises.

+1000 on those clamps. Easy 1 hour alignment job with the new clamps and things are good!

Exhaust sounds great too!

I have an existing 3 inch catback with mega drone. I talked to a guy at a custom muffler shop. He said he can modify the xs power 2.5 inlet/outlet to 3 inches and weld them in place. I think I will go that route.

you can but it will still be 2.5" through the muffler which will negate some of your gains by bumping up the piping before and after.
