Default forged ls2 with afr 230 heads

looking to sell my old engine. the story goes i had the motor rebuilt last winter. it had about 12k miles on it... went to change the oil and noticed some metal... oil pressure was still good and it showed no signs of issues. i wanted to be safe and pulled it and had it rebuilt... come to find out nothing was wrong with it but i still had it freshen up.... come spring i brought the car to the dyno. on the 2nd pull the timing gear popped off. i brought the engine back to the builder and he has made the repairs. it needed 6 valves, new guides, new valve seals, head gaskets, timing chain and he cleaned up the pistons from the damage. he said it wasn't bad at all... i however do not have any pictures. the builder is a stand up guy and stands by his work so i trust him... most shops would of flaked out on something like this so i give him credit for standing by and helping me.

id like a local sale. i have no interest in shipping this nor will i part it out.
i have the build sheet for the engine etc from when he rebuilt it last winter.
the bottom end after the rebuild has around 1k miles. the top end now has 0.... oil pressure was great after rebuild, didn't burn any oil and showed no signs of any blow by.
its built for boost.

parts list
afr 230 heads 1630 72cc chambers
ls2 block
diamond pistons part # 11516
callies ultra I beam rods
callies dragonslayer crank
cloyes double roller timing chain
king bearings
total seal rings
ls9 head gaskets
comp cam short travel lifters 15850-16
arp hardware top to bottom
stock rockers with truion upgrade
custom comp turbo cam (can send a pic of the cam card to interested people)

the only piece missing is the rear cover. we robbed it for my replacement engine. when the gear popped off i was thinking the damage was going to be way worse then it was.... i also knew it was going to take awhile to be repaired so instead of waiting i just ordered a replacement engine. 3-4 months later the old engine is back together and ready for a new home.

thats just a quick lowdown of the engine. if someone is interested please message me or call me at 8604553934 and we can go over the specifics etc instead of posting every last detail.

price $6k... i will not take a dime less so DO NOT ask.

couple of pictures...

New England's Fastest is a decent one. Bunch of LS guys lurking.

Club Corvette of Connecticut

not sure if Caffeine & Carburetors would have much pull, but lots of them have the $$$$

An absolute steal for that price!

Can't even buy the crank/rods/heads for that amount alone...

Default Ls2

Thx for sending the cam specs. To bad you didn't get some pics of the pistons and crank journals before it was put back together. Even being a local buyer, I would want to inspect it with the heads off before purchasing. No pics might be stalling the sale. Killer deal, but just saying.
