Outer Low Beam projector: This is a projector that has a dual purpose. When the car has the low beams on this will be lit and have the shield raised making a stepped cutoff out in front of you. When you turn to high beams, the shield will drop creating a larger (but not brighter) swath of light out in front of you.
Inner High Beam Reflector: When low beams are on, this will not be lit. When You turn to high beams this will light up creating some additional light out in front of you for maximum illumination when high beams are active.
I hope this clears it up a bit.

So it's not truly a Bi-Xenon?? All the wiring is plug and play? Makes sense...inner is high beam still and outer stays low beams and a little extra when the shield drops...thanks for the clarification! Are these the black housing?

These headlights are absolutely worth the money. There is just no comparison to the old stock headlights. This was my first major mod to the car, and I couldn't have picked a better upgrade.
Installation was relatively easy, with common hand tools. Adjustment was a breeze and now I can actually see where I'm going at night. They look awesome too!
A must have upgrade to the C5
(sorry about the blurry images, phone camera glass cracked )
