***RARE: GT Factory True 90 Degree Vertical Door Hinges, Brackets, and Hardware***
I have for sale a very RARE set of GT Factory True 90 Degree Vertical Door Hinges, Brackets, and Hardware. These hinges are very hard to come by and were by far the very best ever made vertical door hinge for the C5 Corvette. The hinges will allow for a full 90 degrees vertical position and sit closer into the cars side then any other vertical hinge produced. Many flop the doors and don't allow for a full 90 degrees. Why are these not being made any longer? Long story short...Vertical Doors Inc., slapped a cease and desist order on GT Factory to stop manufacturing these. These hinges quickly were going to put Vertical Doors Inc., out of business because of how much better they were made. Later on Vertical Doors Inc., would end up buying out the GT Factory name and these hinges were never made again. The hinges are built like a tank! No flimsy hardware here. Your doors won't flop, shake, fall down, or wave when the air blows by! You won't have door striker issues either. They come complete with the hinges, custom fabricated steel brackets for the C5 Corvette and the dual shocks.
The installation process is fairly straight forward and on a scale of 1-5 (5 being professional only) I would rate this at a 2. Anybody with basic hand tools can do this bolt-on conversion. You can also find an installer to do the job as well. There are guys on here who have done this as well that can offer tips and tricks too.
New Lowered Price! $800 Shipped! Will cost me around $50-$75 to ship these but FREE SHIPPING to the buyer! These would sell between $1500-$1800. Vertical Doors sells their version for $1500. Other companies on the net go over $2000 for a pair of cheaper made hinges.

Hi...Thanks for the offer. Only thing I would be willing to trade for would be a cocktail arcade table in very good condition with 60 or more of the classic games on it, such as Pac man, galaga, dig dug, etc.

For anybody else wondering...
As with any properly made C5 Corvette Lambo/Vertical door hinge, in order for the C5 door to properly swing up (and NOT FLOP TO THE SIDES like some cheaper door hinges produce), some small body lip/trim modifications are necessary. These can be done in minutes and have no adverse effects to the car. If done correct, you won't be able to notice any of the modifications. The hinges can also be removed easily and the car put back to stock.
Any other questions feel free to fire me over a PM. More then willing to help out as much as I can to any Corvetteforum friends!

For anybody wondering you can still open your doors the normal way if you decided you didn't want them to go up vertically. Like 2 door hinges in one.
