Hahaha GM Parts House has C6 Z51 sway bars for less than that! (which is what I would recommend, personally)

Did you find your bars yet? I see that I have plastic endlinks on both front & rear of the 2001 Vert A4 I bought about 4 months ago, so I guess I'm ALSO in the market for C6 Z51 front/rear sway bar take-offs (with bushings & metal endlinks).
I'll get in line. My C5 only has 36k miles, so I'm not in a rush, and I may wait on a LKQ part-out or take-off in Central NC if that ever happens!
If I get tired of waiting, the bar packages from the vendor-sponsors here look super reasonable too, but the ~50% add for the metal links (sold separately) gives me a little bit o pause....
Bent, let us know your status. What did you get? How many hours did the swap take (for a First timer?).

The swaps not hard. For a first timer I'd say a few hours max.
I still have found the deal I want. I can't justify 190-200 for used bars when new is 230 and the new is for sure gonna come with bushings and not "if I find them I'll send them"
I'm still looking. Hoping to find something soon
