Default '97-'00 Corvette TPMS To '01-'04 TPMS Conversions Available – www.gmpartshouse.com

Hi All,

Thanks for taking a look at the TPMS/Key FOB conversion thread. You guys have been asking for this for a while, but the parts haven't been available and now they have started to become available again. I have put together a kit and a special price for you on this conversion. The kit is $429.99. If you are interested in only doing one key fob instead of two, that is fine. Just let me know and I can help you out with it. Click on the link below to order from our website.

Thanks,
Gene.

||--Genuine GM 97-00 Corvette to 01-04 Corvette TPMS Conversion--||

(1) #1 Key FOB
(1) #2 Key FOB
(1) Remote Control Door Lock Receiver
(1) Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Connector
(4) Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS)
(4) Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Mounting Nuts

This kit retails for $685.42 and includes everything you need to convert your TPMS and key FOB’s in your 1997-2000 Corvette to the 2001-2004 Corvette. This is done to change the future costs or current costs of the more expensive 1997-2000 Corvette TPMS and key FOB’s to the lesser expensive 2001-2004 Corvette TPMS and key FOB’s.

Best update I've done on my '98. Saturday afternoon swap out for the receiver, couple of hours at Firestone to swap out the sensors, sold the old ones for $150.00, sold the receiver for $50.00, sold the fobs for $60.00. Do the math. I have all new transmitters, sensors, and two fobs for about the cost of two of the old style sensors.

This is a no-brainer.

Wow that's cheap. It's $25/wheel here on a good day. I do need to get mine replaced soon, how long ago were the batteries replaced?

I had never replaced the batteries and they were 10-15 years old (one was broken while installing new tires).

Thank you for your contribution to the thread! It is a great upgrade for a great price and makes future replacement parts less expensive.

I just added the kit to my shopping cart and entered the coupon code and it worked. You just click on the link to order the item. Add it to your cart. On step #2 of #4 of the check out process you enter the code and you're good to go.

Do the key fobs work with the passive lock/unlock function?

The newer setup does not have the passive option.

Apologies if this is a dumb question but can you convert your TPMS without converting the keyfobs?

This is definitely a no. They need the correct receiver.
