"This is a very aggressive exhaust, not for the faint of heart." You ain't joking! I have these on my Z with headers and catted x-pipe. I think the term "aggressive" is a bit of an understatement They were well worth the money!
Here's some videos for those that want to know what they sound like.

The "T-Rex" cam was a product of some pretty cool research and a long time ago (i think around 2004) this cam first came out for the LS1. It was designed as a "max effort" cam with stock heads and stock displacement, and still to this day is one of the biggest cams designed for the LS1. however through bad business habits Thunder Racing, the developer of the cam has gone out of business. i ordered this cam a couple weeks before they closed and was only a few of many that got there stuff they paid for before they closed. several still had high dollar pending orders that never got recieved. Either way they don't make this cam anymore... there are a couple guys out there that make a similiar cam to this one although several people will say that the "t-rex" idle is a unique monster cam.

Damn, the cat back was my first mod and i got a sound clip on my home comp but im currently deployed so i don't have access to it. its really just louder with a great rumble at idle but it doesn't have a significant tone to it like a corsa a typical catback with any kind of muffler. my car didn't develop a decent tone with this catback until i replaced the headers and deleted the cats... but overall id still purchase it again on another car with stock manifolds and cats because its loud... i love loud although some "snottier" people have told me that its too loud and it ruins my vette.. some people love it. i think that the chevy corvette is the musclecar icon and should sound as loud as its image.. but thats just me.

Thanks! I love the way my car sounds. im not sure i like the negative attention from the base police where i work and the cops that can hear me from a mile away, but when i pull into a car show everyone stops and looks. Guys come up to me and ask me if i have cutouts at the collector cause they think its open headers. The straight pipes really allow it to speak!

There were no modifications, it is a bolt in system. I know what you mean though, when i first saw it i was thinking that there was nothing to hang the mufflers but they actually bolt up to the rear of the diff cradle. it is fairly tricky to get it to line up correctly. i would bolt everything up loosly the get the tips nice and straight in the back and tighten up the clamps where it bolts to the back of the x/h pipe then tighten the bolts where it bolts to the diff cradle. i think you will be happy if you like the attention!!!

I have these on my c5 race car. Put in an ls3 with a ls7 cam...was getting sound readings at 105 decibels....!!!! Sounds awesome! Unfortunately I can't be over 103 so I had to cut my tips off and put on angled pipes to carry sound away from the backend! These definitely sound awesome!
