Default FS C5Z style Chrome Wheels 17-9.5/18-10.5! Nice tires! Ohio

Guys,

I may be looking into another set set of rims and seeing if anyone would be interested in my current rims. I prefer to stay local due to weight and cost to ship these. (Located in Dayton Ohio)

The rims were purchased for car from previous owner in 2012 I believe. These are near perfect and have never seen salt and frequently polished and cleaned. Detailed pics to come.

They are factory spec 17/18 sitting on some Hankooks Ventus v12's. I bought these in October 2012 and have about 5k or so miles on them. (I will check) No holes, no burn outs, no track time, etc just street driven. They hook great and I will definitely buy them again.

The tires alone are currently $628 for the combo from tire rack without tax, shipping, and installation etc.

Front: 255/40ZR17
Rear: 285/35ZR18

I would really like to get around $1,200 for the rims ( with center caps) and tires before shipping and paypal fees Etc. I think this a fair price for the condition of the tires and rims. Again I prefer local sale in Ohio area. To save the buyer and myself both time and money

There is over $1,600 invested in this combo and these are ready to bolt on.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks,
Pete

Are they factory Z06 spec rims? If so, you're running smaller than spec tires.

Yes I am running 1 step smaller tires than factory spec tires because of the cost and sizes in the OE size. These rims came with stock 265 front and 295 rear tires when I got the car.

This 255/285 Hankook Ventus V12 combo hooks much better than the Eagle F1 tires in 265/295 ever did.

No issues with traction control, active handling etc. Car drives great. Ive had these tires on my GTO in past as well and loved them.

I'm gonna check when I get home. I'm not sure where he got them. I think House of wheels sells them in 17-9.5 and 18-10.5 like factory Z spec as an option.

Ok I don't think they are factory chromed but they are indeed 17 by 9.5 and 18 by 10.5. That was stamped on the inside of the spoke on each (on backside of rim)

Pics here:

Rear 1

Rear 1 tread

Rear 2

Rear 2 tread (just a piece of paper in tread)

Front 1

Front 1 tread

Front 2 ( the only one that has a small blemish that you cant see unless right on it)

Blemish shot:

Tread front 2

I don't have a tire gauge but id honestly say the fronts are 90% and the rears around 80%

They were on the car but I'm going to assume they are reproductions because I don't see any gm castings etc but in the Z06 spec widths. ( most repros I've seen are 8.5 and 9.5 width)

Sorry no tps sensors. The 01 Z06 did not come with them. I don't think the 02-04 did either

thepitstop2010 ..... the wheels will accept 97-2000 sensors though. Not a problem there.

Since no interest is present I have decided to keep these at this point in time.
