I apologize for not specifying the brand, but to be honest, I'm not quite sure... This unit came with my Z06 when I bought it and I took it off prior to selling it.

I do know it is not a Hurst or an MGW shifter.

Perhaps someone may chime in on which brand it is...?

Thanks for the interest.

It looks like a Kirban shifter to me. I've had one since about 2000 and it's been a good shifter.

Im interested in the throttle body. Shoot me your best price. Anything wrong with it? I don't think I am heading down to Laredo any time soon so include shipping.

Yes, I believe you are correct. If I recall correctly, the original owner mentioned that name when I purchased the car. It's got a really good quality feel to it.

Thanks for the insight, I greatly appreciate it.

Bump~!

Thank you for the interest this morning, I hope everyone had an excellent 4th of July.

Here's a pic of my Bone Stock (Paper Filter) 2002 Sunset Orange Metallic WS6 Trans-Am WS6 M6 with Black leather, T-Tops, and 47,000 miles...!

I threw on an extra set of wheels I had (OEM C6 Z06 Polished Finish). The OE wheels were Polished Speedlines so it somewhat matched the OE theme with Polished Z06 wheels. The rear shot looks the best (12" wheels out back)... =)

No tubbing required.

These cars are so awesome.

For the price, you can't beat the fun-factor. I feel every car guy should have a WS6 TA in their stable. The look is truly remarkable and un unmistakable piece of what modern American-Muscle represents.

I'll post more pics if you guys are interested. When I threw on those wheels everyone thought I was absolutely nuts and that it wouldn't fit without a tub or serious 'sawz-all' action... Well they were wrong and I didn't even have to remove the bump stops or cut anything.

is it shorter than stock? I'm not sure. I'm assuming that it has a shorter throw. You may find more information on their website.

any issues with 5th 6th or reverse? getting into them? I never had any issues.

any grinds going into the gears? I never had any issues.

whats with the tape in the picture? The black electrical tape is not structural. It was used to hold another shift-boot in place under the original shift-boot for sound deadening purposes. It can be removed without any issue.

on your craigslist ad it shows a gold base one also is that the stock c5 one? Yes, that would be the stock Z06 shifter and **** missing the 1-6 plastic top/cover.
