Within each day, we have this choice: we can build walls, block ourselves from the light, and suffer a dampness in the soul. Or we can live barely, shine on through, and suffer the nicks of erosion for living in the open.
You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.
If I get a FAST manifold down the line, would it be fair to say that a ported ls6 throttle body will be just as good as a FAST throttle body?
Absolutely not, the LS6 is a 78mm and can not be used with FAST 90,92, or 102. You would need one of our ported LS2 TB for that application OR a NW102TB, which we sell at the lowest price in US.
I have an LS1/6/2 FAST 102 on the shelf brand new with brand new NW102 TB for $1300 shipped in US. Also have BER ported LS2 TB if you wanted to save $200 over the NW
Hrm since I dont plan to do heads or a cam, and only an intake, headers/exh, and a tune...maybe the ported ls6 is the best choice for my c5z...
I would do this
1 3/4 headers without cats OBX
unported FAST 102
BER Ported 90mm TB
Vararam or Honker
Tune
OR
Same with ported LS6 intake and BER ported LS6 TB
102 is probably a little large for bolt ons BUT as most of us do, you may get the bug to do a cam package later, in that case the 102 will be the ticket. Email me, we will put a full package together with whatever you want. Also in my estimation exhaust is a high cost, low value performance mod. Do some cutouts if you want NASCAR sound with the ability to choose sound level from NASTY to STOCK
What about for an early 97' LS1 with the dual fuel lines? Will the LS6 intake be better than an LS2? Is the LS1/LS6 both 78mm? The LS2 is 90mm? What about my fuel rails? I assume I have to stick with mine but will they bolt up to the other intakes?
