Default FS: 2003 Zo6 Stock Airbox

Airbox is from my 2003 Z. Car had about 2500 miles on it when I took it off to install a VR.

Also have with it a K&N air-filter # 33-2111 has less than 1k miles on it.

As you can see in the pic, all parts are in like new condition.

I am asking $100 firm, plus shipping and Paypal fees for the Airbox with filter.

It has been my understanding the Z06 covers have an opening for air on the face of the cover.

No I'm not saying that. I Had looked at my buddies Z06 air box and it's different, also last year I was at a car show and noticed the same air boxes on some of the Z there. Thay have a screen in opening. Maybe that's a Mod people do. Your doesn't look any different than the stock ones. I'm wondering what the real differences are between the Z06 and the base unit. I'm looking for a Z06 air box.

Thanks Roger

That is odd, cause mine does not look like either one. But it for sure came off my 2003 Z. It's been laying around here for years. I just got done putting an LS3 in the car and so I'm selling off all the "extra" stuff from the swap and things that I have laying around.

So does that mean my air box is worthless?

If it doesnt look like either one of those then it should have come off a pre 01 corvette.

I'd say, pretty much so. "So does that mean my airbox is worthless?"

I have an 03 Z, I bought new.
I pulled my stock, original air box out of the barn to check & see if it's like the picture on the left with the larger hole in the box. (02, LS6 Box)

It's identical.

Well then I guess I'll sell the K&N filter for say $50?

Wonder how the heck that airbox got installed on my car then?

Well you said you bought the car used.
I'd say your question could be answered by the previous owner?

Hey, aren't you near Elesberry, MO?
I spent each summer there as a kid, living in a house on concrete
stilts..... only a few feet off the Mississippi river.

Good luck with your sale.

The 02 should have a small opening just like the 01 Z air box.

Not too far from there. I'm off of 70 and 79 area.

I got the car from a dealer that originally sold the car to an old man, who traded it back in 3 mo after he got it with only 600 miles on it. The dealer had it for over a year. The owner of the dealership would drive the car periodically and got it up to 1,400 miles when I bought it. So hard to believe they bothered to swap it out at some point.

I appreciate everyone's input on this
