C5 poor mans big brake kit, sway bars, throttle bodies, c5 Z06 clutch,
All the following OBO. Shipping is from zip 60067.
Want to put C6 Z51 rotors with C5 Z06 front calipers on the REAR of your C5 while still retaining the parking brake?
I have assembled and tested the following kit:
2 C6 Z51 Rear rotors (2mm milled off the outer diameter to clear the caliper)
2 C5 Z06 front calipers (about 3000 miles)
2 C6 Z51 rear brackets (milled down so you retain use of parking brake)
Includes a set of Hawk HPS pads and a set of Ceramic pads
The C6 Z51 rear rotors are Centric Premium Blanks (no holes or slots to make the rotor crack) that I got from KNS brakes. Just the rotors are $200 for the pair new. The calipers are over $300 new, the HPS pads are $120 new, the abutment brackets are $100 new. I have done all the grinding work for you (see thread in tech section on putting front calipers on rear). Everything less than 500 miles (I decided not to put bigger front brakes on my car. This really fills the rear wheel well compared to the puny stock rotor/caliper). you will need to get some longer brake lines for the rear (DRM will sell you just a rear set that works great for about $75).
All for $475 + shipping + paypal fees, may split up depending on interest.
Stock C5 Z06 clutch/flywheel assembly. off of my car (original owner 2002 C5 Z06). came off at 6000 miles. $175 + shipping +paypal fees SOLD
2 LS6 stock throttle bodies. One with Motor/sensor, one without. (still available)
$85 for the one with motor/sensor, $75 for one without, all + shipping + paypal fees
Also have C5 Z06 stock front sway bar $125
32 mm front hollow Strano bar $150 (both bars without endlinks) SOLD

32mm Sway bar sold. still have the stock C5 Z06 front bar (30mm bar).
May split calipers if no interest in rest. Please PM me, as it is hard to follow up in individual threads

Is there any difference between c5 front calipers and the z06 calipers other than cosmetic, bigger pads or pistons, etc. ??? Greg Noobie
