Buy or Sell your C5 Emission Pipe#2
For those C5 Corvette Forum Members who are installing headers or they are blocking off their air emission tubes and erasing them from the computer. If you want to sell your unneeded drivers side stainless steel emission tube (pictured below) I created this thread to be the central place to buy & sell specifically that tube.

Recently I came up with an Alternative Fix For The P1416 Code which describes rerouting the passenger side check valve towards the front of the engine, instead of the rear. This method requires either reusing the old passenger side stainless steel tube (reworking it and flaring it) or acquiring another drivers side stainless steel tube (Pipe#2), which is different. The benefit to using the drivers side tube is that the threaded pipe fitting is welded on and the tube, when mounted on the passenger side exhaust manifold, faces the front of the engine (the desired way).

A 2003 C5 Pipe#2 works perfectly but I believe not all C5 tubes are exactly the same. The one I bought reportedly came off of a 2001 C5 which was slightly smaller in two ways. Overall height and width see below. Both work but the smaller tube needs to be bent/pulled out a little to clear the exhaust manifold heat shield. I used the smaller tube and it worked out fine.

Thus if you want to sell your tube, post the year, price, size and or measurements and pictures(if you can). And those that want them can respond. Another reason for this thread is because the tube is very expensive to buy new.
Note to Sellers: Update your post if you sell your tube or delete it if possible.
Good Luck!

worth noting; pretty sure you'll find the difference in height on those tubes with these years on the LHS(I am not 100percent on year tube change for LHS)
97-00
01-04 (All C5's rec'd the cast iron ex. manifolds along with moving up the AIR tube one cylinder on the RHS)
I understand only the LHS tube is focus of this thread

I’ll hang onto mine for when the communists/democrats kill-the-joy someday in the future and I need to reinstall my OEM smog pump and other pathetic Venezuela-level bullshit to keep my C5 on the road.
